5.2.3
Low-level and empty status signalling
Attention
The low-level and empty status signals are defined in the factory as normally open
contacts (NOC).
If the JUDO UNIDOS digital dosing pump system is operated via the Ext. stop signal
input, both switching contacts on the suction kit must be defined as normally closed
contacts (NCC) by rotating as must the signal input under mode 1 (see Chap. 5.2.5)!
Filling of the empty dosing tank leads to the automatic restarting of the dosing pump!
The low level and empty signals are used for fill level monitoring of the dosing tank and protect the dosing
pump against dry running. The operating state is indicated by the relevant status LEDs (see Chap. 5.1.1).
5.2.4
Relay outputs
The dosing pump has two potential-free relay outputs, which can for example be connected to a building
control system (fault-/empty status signal transfer cable JAK-L necessary, see Chap. 3.2.3). Relay output 1
is defined as a fault or empty signal. Relay output 2 is defined in the factory as a low level signal, but if
necessary can be reprogrammed (see Chap. 5.2.5)
5.2.5
Adjustment mode and specific setting
Attention
Changes in adjustment modes should only be performed by JUDO customer service or
authorised technical personnel, because incorrect settings can result in incorrect
operation of the JUDO UNIDOS digital dosing pump system!
JUDO Wasseraufbereitung GmbH will not be responsible for the resulting damage.
All risks are borne solely by the operator!
The contact type of the signal inputs and relay outputs as well as the function of relay output 2 can be
defined in adjustment mode. The respectively active adjustment mode and its current setting is indicated by
the status LEDs (see also Chap. 5.1.2).
Set the dosing capacity to 0 % at the rotary knob.
Connect the dosing pump to mains voltage.
Simultaneously press and hold the bleed key and the operating mode key for at least 5 s, the dosing
pump switches to adjustment mode 1.
Select the desired adjustment mode with the operating mode key.
Make the desired setting with the bleed key.
Simultaneously press and hold the bleed key and the operating mode key for at least 1 s, to once
again exit the adjustment mode after programming is completed.
