Inspection, maintenance, service
Warning
Observe Chap. 1.2.3 without fail!
Wear protective clothing (safety glasses and safety gloves) when working on the dosing
head, connections or pipes to protect against chemical burns!
Do not allow any dosing media to escape from the dosing pump, capture and dispose of
any escaping dosing media correctly!
Empty the dosing head before performing maintenance work and rinse as necessary!
If the diaphragm leaks or if the diaphragm breaks, dosing medium exits from the outlet
opening (see Chap. 4.3, Fig. 4) at the dosing head!
Implement appropriate precautions to prevent bodily harm or property damage caused
by escaping dosing medium and check daily whether dosing medium escapes from the
outlet opening!
Switch off the power supply before working on system components!
Once the mains voltage is connected, the dosing pump can start up automatically!
Observe Chap. 1.2.1!
Warning
Before cleaning, maintenance or repair work ensure that the JUDO UNIDOS digital
dosing pump system is fully hydraulically depressurised!
Servicing and maintenance could only be performed by JUDO customer service or
authorised technical personnel and while adhering to the applicable safety conditions!
Orderly and systematically performed servicing is the underlying requirement for a fault-
free long service life of the JUDO UNIDOS digital dosing pump system (observe EN 806-
5:2012 and EN 15848)!
The attached maintenance log (see Chap. 8.6) serves as a template for the creation and
orderly keeping of an on-going maintenance book!
According to EN 806-5:2012, every technical plant requires regular servicing and inspection. The inspection
should be performed at intervals of 2 months by trained personnel and servicing at half-yearly intervals. Both
must always be performed by JUDO customer service or an authorised specialist company, who will if
necessary replace defective parts or wear parts. Product standard EN 15848 must be observed and adhered
to for the inspection and maintenance procedure. We recommend that you set up a customer service
contract, so that your JUDO UNIDOS digital dosing pump system can be regularly tested for fault free
operation.
