6 Commissioning
Attention
Prerequisite for commissioning is the correct installation of the JUDO UNIDOS digital
dosing pump system plus all system components!
The setting of the necessary functions of the dosing pump must be matched to the
respective circumstances and local requirements (observe Chap. 5.2)!
The commissioning must only be performed by JUDO customer service or authorised
technical personnel!
The transfer confirmation (see Chap. 8.6) must be carefully filled out upon
commissioning!
Observe the separate installation and operating instructions of other devices and
systems!
6.1 Initial commissioning
Attention
Before initial commissioning and after approximately 5 operating hours, tighten the
dosing head screws by 3 Nm!
During initial commissioning, it must be ensured that
- all connections are checked for leak-tightness,
- the electrical connections are correctly made,
- the dosing tank is free from dirt and contamination.
6.1.1 Filling the dosing tank
Warning
Observe Chap. 1.2.3 without fail!
Observe the information and instructions about JUDO JUL-mineral solutions and JUDO
chemicals!
When using ready prepared dosing media:

Open the filler cap of the dosing tank.

Carefully fill the dosing tank with the ready prepared dosing medium.

Correctly reclose the dosing tank.

Actuate the hand mixer several times or briefly switch on the electrical mixer.
When using powder type or concentrated dosing media:

Open the filler cap of the dosing tank.

Fill the dosing tank with water of the required quality and quantity.

Then carefully add the necessary quantity of powder dosing medium or concentrated dosing medium
in small portions in accordance with the dosing instructions.
