7.1.2

Power off

If the Power off is selected, only the Display Unit is turned OFF and the AIS functionality of the Transponder will still

be active. Note that the ship list will need some time to recover when turning the Display unit on again. This is

dependent on when the messages from the different vessels are received.
The message logs for sent and received messages will also be lost.
Note that the Transponder unit will issue an alarm when the display is shut down, and there may be no means to

acknowledge this alarm if the display is turned off!
