Repair Instructions
Tension is checked by squeezing the cables to-
gether (at the arrows). It should be possible to
squeeze the cables so that the distance between
them is half the size, without using too much force.
Remove the frame plate by loosening the screws
(two on each side).
Checking and Adjusting the Steering
Cables

Tighten the cables by tightening the adjuster nuts
(one on each side of the rider). Do not over tighten
the cables; they should only be drawn in towards
the steering collar. Adjust both cables equally so
that the steering wheel position does not change.
Check the cable tension after you have made the
adjustment as described in point 2.
Changing the Engine Oil
The engine oil should be changed the first time
after 5 hours running time; see the Service sched-
ule. It should then be changed after every 50 hours
of running (25 hours when run under heavy operat-
ing conditions).
WARNING!
Engine oil can be very hot if it is
drained directly after stopping the
engine. Allow the engine to cool
somewhat first.

Tip! When draining the engine oil, fold a piece of
cardboard and use it to guide the oil into the
drainage container.
Place a container under the engine’s drainage plug,
which is located on the left-hand side of the engine.
Remove the dipstick and drainage plug. Let the oil
run out into the container.
Fit the drainage plug and tighten it.
Fill with oil up to the ”FULL” mark on the dipstick.
Oil is filled using the same hole as the dipstick. Use
engine oil SAE 30 or SAE 10W/30, class SF-CC.
Run the engine warm, then check that there is no
leakage from the oil plug.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Used engine oil is an environmental
hazard and must not be disposed of on
the ground or in nature; it should always
be disposed of at a workshop or appropri-
ate disposal location.
Avoid skin contact; wash with soap and
water in case of spills.
