7.1.4 PE and shielding recommendations

To  ensure  proper  EMC  behavior,  the  IEM  shall  be  mounted  properly  on  the
three mounting holes. One of the mounting holes is responsible for connecting
the shield of the  R45 connections to PE according to the recommendation of
each specific industrial Ethernet flavor. The application PCB must in any case
provide PE connection via this specific mounting hole.
