NFORMATION
I.1 HD-55 Overview
This OCEANO HD-55 Pull and Lift heavy duty acoustic release (ordering code:
KAA00091, general drawing number: 290 9203) is displayed in Figure 1. The HD-55 is
fitted with a AR861S stainless steel acoustic actuator and is dedicated to vertical lifting
and horizontal pulling applications.

The HD-55 is supplied with a 60 t / SWL (safe working load) oval master link (A515C65)
compatible with the FSR release hook. The whole assembly (HD-55 and associated oval
master link) is individually load tested and associated certificates are supplied with the
acceptance test report. 60 tons spare release rings A515C65 are available from iXBlue.
The HD-55 releasing system is composed of the elements described in the following
sections.
