TT801 remote control unit
None
Check all the acoustic release functions using the TT801 Remote Control unit.
Part 1 – Preliminary
Step Action
1.
Read the TT801 Remote Control Unit and AR8x1 Acoustic Release User Guides.
2.
Place the acoustic head of the Remote Control Unit besides the Acoustic Release head.
3.
End of procedure.
Part 2 - TRANSMIT and RECEIVE settings of TT801
Refer to TT801 and ART861S user guides and follow the FSK Transmission procedure.
Step Action
1.
Switch on the remote control unit. The main menu is posted up.
2.
Press “1” on key panel to enter Transmit / Receive Settings menu.
3.
Use ENTER button to validate data and SCROLL button to change parameters. Then
press “1” to access the “Immediate Transmit” menu.
4.
According to individual data sheet of the device, select type of device (AR8 or RT8), then
the type of transmission. Generally select ARM + CMD for Transmit Type.
5.
Press on key panel the ARM code of the device to be tested (check on the label stuck on
the unit or the individual data sheet) and validate it as ARM code.
6.
Press on key panel the CMD code selected of the device to be tested (check on the label
stuck on the unit or the individual data sheet) and validate it as CMD code.
7.
Select the Command ( Release, Release with Pinger, Pinger ON, Diagnostic, Other
CMD ) and confirm.
Menu for Receive Settings opens automatically.
8.
For AR/RT/XT861xS units, CAF and PRF must be set in accordance with settings of the
Acoustic Actuator to be tested. Then, Select Distance or Elapsed time with Scroll
button for Ranging type depending on the mode to be displayed during operations.
9.
End of procedure.
