Configuration
The Configuration part consists of three subparts:
• Printer
• Print Server
• Network Interface
Printer
There are four different pages in the Printer subpart:
1. Communication
2. Media
3. Print Engine
4. Web Shell
Refer to the Installation & Operation manual for the printer model
in question for detailed information on the various setup param-
eters.
1. Communication
Here you can set up the communication parameters for the printer's
standard serial communication channel "uart1:" and the network
communication channel "net1:".
Use the boxes to enter and select the appropriate values and choices,
then press the Submit Setup button.
2. Media
In this page you can specify the size of the print window, select the
media type and set up the printer for the paper/ribbon type in use.
You can also adjust the printer's printout contrast.
Use the boxes to enter and select the appropriate values and choices,
then press the Submit Setup button.
3. Print Engine
In this page you can set the start and stop adjust values, read the
printhead resistance, and set the print speed.
Use the boxes to enter and select the appropriate values and choices,
then press the Submit Setup button.
4. Web shell
In the upper part of this page you can perform a test feed, reset the
printer to its default setup values, print test labels, and execute a
reboot.
In the lower part, you can use the boxes to select an application and
to choose the standard IN/OUT channel, similar to Intermec Shell.
Then press the Submit Setup button and execute a reboot.

Do NOT use the AUTO option
in the Standard I/O drop-down
list box (intended for future de-
velopment only).
