NOTES:
1. This pin is defined as reserved by PICMG* 2.0 R3.0. Intel's RSS solution redefines this pin as
ALT_SYSEN#. The midplane cross-connects this pin with the SYSEN# pin in the paired multi-purpose slot.
Additionally the midplane provides a pull-down resistor to ground.
2. The ZT 5085 midplane connects PRST# between the paired multi-purpose slots on the same PCI bus
segment.
3. CompactPCI* defines the DEG# and FAL# signal as inputs to system slots. Intel systems that implement
CMM slots do not connect the DEG# and FAL# signals in the system slots. Instead the CMM(s) monitor the
DEG# and FAL# signals from the power supplies.
4. This pin is defined as V(I/O) by PICMG 2.0 R3.0. Intel's RSS solution redefines this pin RSS#. The
midplane provides a pull-down resistor to ground.
5. The PICMG 2.0 R3.0 specification defines this pin as ground in system slots and not connected in
peripheral slots. Intel's RSS solution specifies that the midplane cross-connect this pin with the
ALT_SYSEN# pin in the paired multi-purpose slot and that the midplane also provide a pull-down resistor
to ground.
6. This pin is defined as reserved by PICMG 2.0 R3.0. Intel's RSS solution redefines this pin as
RSS_XOUT#. The midplane cross-connects this pin with the RSS_XIN# pin in the paired multi-purpose
slot.
7. This pin is defined as reserved by PICMG 2.0 R3.0. Intel's RSS solution redefines this pin as RSS_XIN#.
The midplane cross-connects this pin with the RSS_XOUT# pin in the paired multi-purpose slot.
8. The CompactPCI specification defines these pins as an SM-Bus for system slots. Intel RSS slots use these
pins for inter-host communication. These pins are connected to the same pins in the paired multi-purpose
slot.
9. This pin is defined as GND in PICMG 2.0 R3.0 for system slots. Intel's RSS solution defines this pin as
64EN# for compatibility with peripheral boards.
