1 Log in as an administrator.
2 Click the Administration tab.
3 Click the Setup subtab.
4 Click the
SNMP
link. The SNMP page opens.
5 Select
Enable
or
Disable
from the
Protocol
pull-down list.
6 Enter the community name in the
Community
text box.
7 Select
Enable
or
Disable
from the
Address Filtering
pull-down list. Enabling
address filtering enables the
Permit SNMP Packets
and
Deny SNMP Packets
radio buttons and the
Reference IP Address
, and
Filtering Mask
text boxes.
8 Select either the
Permit SNMP Packets
or
Deny SNMP Packets
radio button.
9 Enter a reference IP address in the
Reference IP Address
text box.
10 Enter an IP address mask in the
Filtering Mask
text box.
11 To create an SNMP trap, click
Add
. The Add New SNMP Recipient
dialog box opens.
12 Enter the IP address for the recipient in the
Address
text box.
13 Enter the recipient’s community name in the
Community
text box.
14 Click
Save
to save the recipient or
Cancel
to return to the SNMP page
without creating a new recipient.
15 To edit an SNMP trap, select the trap and click
Edit
.
16 To delete an SNMP trap, select the trap and click
Delete
.
17 Click
Save
to save your changes or
Reset
to reset all fields to their
previously saved values.
Configuring Directory Services

You can use Printer Utility to register the Directory Service properties of
the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server. The setup
