Crankshaft
- Overhaul all main bearing cap.
- Visual inspection of crank journal.
- Measure crank pin diameter. Check the shaft cam wear.
- Replace main bearing.(every 18,000-24,000hours)
Camshaft
- Remove camshaft.
- Visual inspection on cam and bearing.
- Visual inspection on camshaft bearing shell.
Crankcase
- Check inside and outside of crankcase.
Gear train
- Overhaul all gears.
- Check cracks on the gears by dye penetration test.
- Replace bearings.
Connecting rod
- Replace piston pin bush and big end bearing.
- Replace crank pin bolts at every 20,000-25,000 hours even
if no abnormality is found.
-Measure the big end innercircle.
Cylinder liner
- Remove cylinder liner.
- Clean and replace O-rings.
- Dye penetration test on upper flange for cracks.
Cylinder head
- Replace rocker arm bushings.
- Replace valve springs.
- Replace intake and exhaust valve guides.
- Replace o-ring of outer of fuel injection valve at every
15,000-25,000 hours even.
