The automatic configuration of the interface can take up to 10 seconds.

The device can be configured in two different ways:
Top-down mode:
The device-specific parameters and the module configuration are set via the
projection software of the EtherNet/IP controller.
Independent mode:
The parameters of the EtherNet/IP interface are set via the graphical user
interface of the device.
