Installing the 2U chassis top cover

To install the 2U chassis top cover, complete the following steps.

Release buttons

Top cover

1. Make sure that no wires are protruding and might interfere with the cover.

2. Orient the cover over the rear of the chassis so that the retention tabs on the

cover align with the tabs in the chassis.

3. Slide the cover onto the chassis until the cover-release buttons click into place.

4. Install the chassis in the iDataPlex rack (see “Installing the 2U chassis in a Type

7825 iDataPlex rack” on page 124).
