Remove CPU card 2 (slots J5/J6), if installed.
Remove all DASD except for the boot DASD (hdisk0).

– Set the circuit breaker to the On (‘|’) position.
– Reseat the node supervisor by unplugging, then plugging, the supervisor cable at the rear of the node.
Does the node IPL properly?

Memory DIMM
Memory card
CPU card
Service processor card
Boot DASD
DASD cable (2-drop or 4-drop)
I/O planar
System planar
Flat ribbon power cable
