9. If either the TIM or the heat sink is damaged, replace both the TIM and the heat sink. The TIM is pre-
applied to the heat sink. Carefully lower the heat sink over the system processor module, ensuring
that the holes in the heat sink (A) align with the two guide pins (B) on the socket, as shown in Figure
66 on page 73.
Gently and slightly twist the heat sink to ensure that both alignment pins in the socket engage with
both of the guide holes in the heatsink.
CAUTION: If only one pin is aligned, or if neither pin is aligned, the heat sink will not contact
the CPU properly.
