Installing the Expansion Unit in a Rack

Before you begin

Turn off the expansion unit.

Refer to your rack documentation for additional information
on preparing the rack.

In this section, you will use the right and left rail assembly brackets
and eight (black) hex head screws (provided with your hardware
kit).

CAUTION:
Use safe lifting practices when lifting your machine.

Note: If your rack has round mounting holes, the upper and lower

alignment pins must be removed and can be discarded.
