One of the features listed in the previous table is clustering. Clustering is a means of sharing SCSI
buses and disk drives among SCSI controllers to provide redundancy of SCSI controllers and servers.
This redundancy is important if a hardware component fails. If a hardware component failure occurs
after clustering has been setup, then another server will take ownership of the disk drives or SCSI bus.
Clustering requires additional hardware and specialized software. The specialized software provides a
seamless environment to the user, making a hardware component failure virtually unnoticeable to the
