8.3 Visual inspection items

Refer to "8.6 How to replace components" for detailed information about specific component
replacement and adjustment methods.

External visual inspection

Inspection items

Maintenance work

Is abnormal noise or vibration generated?

Refer to "7.3 Troubleshooting with no alarm
generated" for help.

Are ELECYLINDER mounting bolts
loose?

Tighten them further.

Is the cable scratched?

Replace if the damage is severe.

Is the connector loose?

Re-insert correctly.

Is grease dripping out?
(especially if vertically mounted)

Clean up any drips.
Replenish the grease.

Is the spiral cover scratched or dented?

Replace if the damage is severe.
The life of the spiral cover is 2 million cycles
(guideline). Replace it based on this
guideline.

Is there foreign matter or dust adhered to the
spiral cover?

Clean the spiral cover.
