Recording Settings for “Intensive” recording schedules
When INTENSIVE MOTION RECORD, INTENSIVE ALARM RECORD or INTENSIVE MOTION/ALARM
RECORD options are selected, recording settings pop-up window will be displayed.
Configure
two sets
of RESOLUTION, FPS (frame rate), and Video QUALITY for each individual camera
and PRE-/POST-RECORDING time for all cameras.
NORMAL – these settings will be used when no motion/alarm is detected. Set to lower
resolution/FPS/quality settings.
WHILE IN MOTION OR ALARM – when motion/alarm is detected, the recording will switch to this set of
preferences. Set to higher resolution/FPS/quality settings.
Tip:
Higher frame rate, video quality and resolution increase the size of the video recording, which in turn
decreases the total length of video recording stored on your DVR.
Individual camera settings. Configure for NORMAL and WHILE IN MOTION OR ALARM.
>
RESOLUTION: Select one of the available resolutions from 1920x1280 to 352x240, depending
on your camera’s capabilities and recording preferences. The higher the resolution, the more
detailed the video image appears and the larger the video recording size.
>
FPS: Select one of the available frame rate settings from 30 (real-time) and 1. The higher the
frame rate, the smoother the video appears and the larger the video recording size.
>
QUALITY: Select one of the available video quality presets from HIGHEST (default) to LOWEST.
The higher the video quality, the larger the video recording size.
>
AUDIO: Enable or disable camera’s linked audio input. See
channels with video cameras.
Global camera settings:

of recorded video segment in case of an alarm event or motion detection.
>
POST RECORDING TIME: Set the number of seconds (5~180 sec) appended to the
end
of the
video recording after and alarm event or after the motion has stopped.
