Use this setup when using one single joystick/control device or one remote controller to control several
Veo16i DVRs.
>
SYSTEM ID: Set the DVR ID so the joystick/control device can distinguish between different
Veo16i units.
>
PROTOCOL: Select joystick/control device protocol from the list of available protocols. Refer to
your joystick/control device manual for more information.
>
BAUD RATE: Set joystick/control device baud rate. Refer to your joystick/control device manual
for more information.
>
REMOTE CONTROLLER ID: Set the remote controller ID. Default value is set to 0.
Click
APPLY
to save new configurations.
When done, click
CLOSE
or press [
EXIT
] on the remote control.
Storage Settings
<SYSTEM SETUP> - <STORAGE>
View the storage information of your Veo16i DVR, set the disk overwrite mode, format your storage hard
drives, configure RAID1/RAID5 array and set S.M.A.R.T. check interval.

INTERNAL DISKS
and
EXTERNAL STORAGE
tabs.

START / END TIME: Show start and end time of the video data stored on each disk.

STATUS: Shows the current disk status. If the HDD is healthy and is being used for video
recording, the status will say
IN USE
. If the drive has malfunctioned, Veo16i will stop recording
to it and the status will show
NOT IN USE
.
Make sure to investigate the cause of all “NOT IN USE” status messages and promptly replace
failed hard drives to prevent video recording interruptions.
