Use mouse cursor or the navigation buttons on the remote control (

MULTICAST
tabs.

UDP - PORT RANGE: Set the acceptable port range for RTP UDP transfer, which will be
dynamically allocated.

AUDIO BACK CHANNEL - MODE: Set the port allocation method for RTP Audio Back Channel.
Set to
AUTO
for automatic allocation or to
MANUAL
to set PORT range manually.
Click
APPLY
to save new configurations.
When done, click
CLOSE
or press [
EXIT
] on the remote control.
RTP > MULTICAST
Multicast allows efficient network bandwidth utilization if multiple clients are viewing DVR video on a
local area network.
Set Multicast Address, Video/Audio Ports and TTL for each connected channel’s Main/Secondary(Sub)
Stream.

Your LAN must support multicasting communication

Multicasting is typically not supported for WAN environment.

Multicasting is a method of sending the same data to multiple unique recipients simultaneously
on a local area network. This method cuts down on network “waste”, gets rid of unnecessary
strain and is generally used in unrestricted network (Intranet).
