User Settings
<SYSTEM SETUP> - <USER>
Add new users and configure group privileges. Your Veo16i comes with a default ADMIN account with a
default password: 1234 . For security of your system, change your administrative password. Refer to the
Set New Password section.
Use mouse cursor or the navigation buttons on the remote control ( ▲▼

Important: Remember to change user passwords often and to disable user accounts of past staff
members.
User Management
<SYSTEM SETUP> - <USER> - <MANAGEMENT>
To add a new user account,
1. Click ADD .
2. In the ADD window,
>
USER ID: Enter the new user ID using the on-screen virtual
keyboard.
>
PASSWORD: Enter the user password using the on-screen virtual
keyboard.
>
GROUP: Assign the new user to one of the free available user
groups:
ADMIN
(complete authority),
MANAGER
or
USER
>
EMAIL: Using the on-screen virtual keyboard, enter the user email
address where event notifications will be sent.
>
EMAIL NOTIFY: Enable or disable email notifications for this user
by setting this option to
ON
or
OFF
. For this function to work, you
must configure the email server and port. Refer to the Email
section for more information.
>
COVERT CHANNEL: Check the video channels that will be hidden
when this user is logged in. (Optional)
3. When done, click OK . New user account will be added to the list.
