Remote Network Connection

1. Connect your broadband router or hub to the ETHERNET port on the rear panel of Veo16i.
2. Connect the ETHERNET port of the router directly to the ﬁxed IP LAN cable, or to the ADSL

modem.

3. If using the router, set the port forwarding and enter the DDNS address in the address bar of

Internet Explorer on the remote PC.

4. For the IP and DDNS address settings, refer to

Network Setup

section.

5. If the MAC address of the DVR is 00-11-5F-12-34-56 and the web port number is 8080, enter

"http://00115f123456.dvrlink.net:8080" in the address bar of the web browser.

6. Rename the DDNS to a custom name (E.g. “veo16i”) to use the dynamic address: E.g.

http://veo16i.dvrlink.net:8080
