Disk System Events 

Your Veo16i allows monitoring the health and status of your internal hard drives. Note that this setup 
does not apply to any external storage drives connected to the DVR via the eSATA or USB port.

OVERWRITE START EVENT: If the hard disk write mode is set to 

OVERWRITE

 in 

Disk

Operations

 section, Overwrite Start Event will occur when the disk fills up and the overwriting

begins.
Link Overwrite Start event with one or more of the connected Alarm Out (Controls/Relays). By
linking Alarm Out with an overwrite start event, you can activate the connected Alarm Out device
when disk overwrite begins.

DISK FULL EVENT: If the hard disk write mode is set to 

ONCE

 in 

Disk Operations

 section, Disk

Full Event will occur when the disk fills up (100%).
Link Disk Full Event with one or more of the connected Alarm Out (Controls/Relays). By linking
Alarm Out with a disk full event, you can activate the connected Alarm Out device when disk fills
up.
