Pipe Installation

In general, the installation should commence at the union

elbow / manifold assembly and progress along to the

discharge nozzles�� Install the Pipework to the installation

drawings provided, ensuring that the following is adhered

to:

The piping material must conform to the

requirements of NFPA 2001 4��2
The pipe must be reamed, blown clear and swabbed

with an appropriate solvent to remove mill varnish

and cutting oil before assembly as required by NFPA

2001 4��2��
PTFE (Teflon) tape is the only acceptable pipe

sealant and must be applied to the male threads��
