Test Procedure
1.
Ensure that the connections between the tester, ground electrode, and probes are correct.
2.
Place the tester horizontally and ensure that the pointer is on the central line.
3.
Set the ratio scale to the maximum, rotate the electric generator handle slowly, and move
the tester until the pointer is on the central line.
4.
When the pointer becomes stable on the central line, rotate the electric generator quickly
(more than 150 rounds per minute), and move the tester until the pointer is on the central
line again.
5.
If the reading is less than 1, change the ratio scale to a smaller one and perform the test
again.
6.
If the pointer shakes, change the handle rotating speed until the pointer becomes stable.
Precautions
Place and take the tester carefully and avoid severe shake.
The ground conductor must be disconnected from devices.
