By default, this option is deselected on HUAWEI VP9039A-T and
selected on other terminals models.

3.7 Connecting a Computer

After a computer is connected to the terminal, the computer desktop and the video captured by
a camera can be simultaneously shared with remote sites during a conference.

Context

The computer desktop and the video captured by a camera can be shared with remote sites during
a conference simultaneously. They can be displayed on one display or independently. The
computer desktop sharing can be used during various applications, such as remote training and
remote technical reviews, without additional hardware such as cables.

Procedure

Step 1

Connect the computer to one of the video input interfaces, such as the HD IN 3 interface of the
ViewPoint 9039, ViewPoint 9036, or ViewPoint 9033, using the VGA cable. The computer
desktop is a video source of the terminal.
