2.1 Installing an Interface Card

An E1 interface card provides interfaces for E1 lines; a 4E1 interface card provides interfaces
for 4E1 lines; a PSTN-E1 interface card provides interfaces for PSTN and E1 lines.

2.1.1 Inserting an Interface Card

To hold video conferences over an E1, a 4E1, or a PSTN network, an E1, a 4E1, or a PSTN-E1
interface card must be inserted into the relevant interface slot at the back of the terminal.

Context

The appearance of the interface cards shown in the following figures is for your reference only.

CAUTION

For safety reasons, insert the interface card before the terminal is powered on or after the terminal
is powered off.
