Installing the Server in a Rack

This chapter provides the required procedures for mounting an HP ProLiant DL580
Generation 2 server into a Compaq branded or industry-standard 19-in rack. For more
information, refer to Chapter 4, “Planning the Server Installation.” Server cabling and
configuration are discussed in Chapter 10, “Server Configuration and Utilities”and
Appendix D, “Cabling Guidelines.”
