Use the
snmp-server host
command to configure the host to receive Simple Network Management
Protocol (SNMP) notifications. Use the
no
form of this command to remove a specified host. Variations of

Syntax Description
<ip address>
Specifies the IP address of the SNMP host that receives the SNMP
information. IP addresses should be expressed in dotted decimal notation
(for example,
10.10.10.1
).
informs
Enables informs to this host.
The following traps are supported:
coldStart
warmStart
linkUp
linkDown
authenticationFailure
<community>
Specifies the community string (used as a password) (16 characters
maximum) for authorized agents to obtain access to SNMP information.
traps
Enables traps to this host. If the version is not specified, version 1 is used.
