Open the combustion chamber as described in
point 6.6.2 (cleaning the combustion chamber
and burner cylinder on the outside).
Cleaning:
Sand the ignition and ionisation devices with
fine sandpaper.
Clean away the sanding dust.
Check all electrode gaps and readjust if necessary
Readjusting procedure:
Heat the electrodes at the kink with the solder-
ing lamp until they glow red.
Use long-nose pliers to bend the ignition elec-
trodes until the required gap is set.

Assembly:
Renew seal on gas connection.
Assemble burner in the reverse order.
Check for gas leaks.

The gas filter must be cleaned immediately after the in

itial commissioning and in occasion of the annual main-
tenance.
Clean the removed gas filter with clean running water and
reinstall it dry.
Replace the gas filter if it is not possible to clean it per
-
fectly.
After assembly, check the gas tightness (e.g. using a leak
detection spray).
