5.7.1 Check pressure in the combustion cylinder

(safety check during commissioning)

WARNING

The settings must only be changed by a spe-

cialist trained by Hoval or by Hoval customer

service.

1. Slightly loosen top screw on pressure switch B17

(connection point for the measurement).

2. Connect manual pressure measurement device to

pressure switch B17 and measure pressure.

3. Check whether the factory settings are suitable for

the local conditions:

- Compare measured value with the nominal meas-

ured value in the following table (deviation toler-

ance of the two values: ±10 %).

4. Disassemble manual pressure measurement device.

5. Tighten upper screw on pressure switch B17.

6. Correct pressure switch B17 or B18 settings if nec-

essary:

- Calculate setting value of the pressure switch and

compare with the setting position of the dial:

- Pressure switch B17 setting value:

Measured value x 0.6

Example: 5.29 mbar x 0.6 = 3.17 mbar

- Pressure switch B18 setting value:

Measured value x 1.4

Example: 5.29 mbar x 1.4 = 7.40 mbar

- Disassemble pressure switch cover.

- Set the pressure switch setting value so that the

outward-facing arrow points to the calculated set-

ting value.

- Assemble pressure switch cover.
