Venturi-type injector
In the Venturi-type injector the metering unit
injects the fertiliser into the air flow.

The fall sluice is fitted with a foldable lid at
the bottom. For the purpose of calibrating the
fall sluice is opened and the calibration bag is
hooked on to the hooks on the housing.

In order to avoid malfunctions on the injector
nozzle or on the seed transport or its distribution
during the seed placement, all connections and
the lid must be closed pressure-tight.
NOTE
Air losses cause metering errors.
Distributor
The distributors for solid fertiliser and micro
granular compound (optional equipment) are
mounted to the rear of the frame above the
seed bar.
They distribute fertiliser and granulate through
the hoses to the coulters.

Dirt and foreign objects may deposit in the dis-
tributors. This will cause irregular distribution.
Without optional auxiliary equipment, the fertil -
iser hoses are not monitored by the drill controls.

Hoses and distributors must therefore be
checked and cleaned daily, depending on
deposits also in between.

For this reason, take off the distributor cover
and remove any deposits with brushes and
compressed air.
WARNING
Endangerment by hazardous dust (fertiliser,
dressing).

Always wear suitable protective clothing
(safety goggles, respiratory masks, protective
gloves) for cleaning and repair work.
