Central distributor (MTS)
In the central distributor (MTS meaning M ain

hopper to the individual metering units.

Adjusting the air flow
The required air flow depends on the travel
speed and other influences.
The specified values therefore need to be con
-
sidered as initial reference values. An optimal
setting must be found in the field.

Adjust the throttle valve (3) according to the
operating conditions.

Check the set air pressure on the pressure
gauge (5).
The value in the pressure gauge thereby
fluctuates around a mean value.
Recommended values:
•
Maize: 40 - 60 mbar
•
Sunflowers: 20 - 40 mbar
•
Fine seeds: 10 - 20 mbar

Check the required pressure during work in
the field.
