Other working widths
If the machine has a working width for which no
table is specified, the suitable metering auger
can be determined by calculation using a uni-
versal table.
Procedure
1. Multiply the desired placing quantity (kg/ha)
by the working width (m).
2. Divide the result by the number of metering
augers.
3. Select intended speed.
4.
Use the figure obtained to search for the
matching metering auger from the universal
table.
NOTE

The calculated figure does not match the
intended placing quantity!
Example
•
Working width of the machine: 10 m
•
Number of metering augers: 2
•
Type of fruit/granulate: Rape
•
Intended speed: approx. 7 km/h
•
Intended placement quantity: 6 kg/ha
1. Multiply the intended placing quantity (kg/ha)
by the working width (m).
6 x 10 = 60
2. Divide the result by the number of metering
augers:
60 : 2 = 30
3. Select intended speed.

Use the figure obtained to search for the

table.
