5 Maintenance
This chapter describes the daily checks and replacement of consumables that can be carried
out by the user.
In order to ensure that the analyzer can be used in good condition for a long period of time,
carry out the following maintenance and checks.
Maintenance frequency differs depending on the operating conditions and sample gas
properties, but think of the periods listed in this chapter as a guide for preventive maintenance
when first starting operation and then determine the maintenance and inspection afterwards
depending on the operating conditions.
The maintenance services other than the listed ones (e.g., checking the sensitivity of the
analyzer) will be carried out by HORIBA. Contact HORIBA, in principle, every year.
5.1 Contact for maintenance
5.2 Daily checks

Sample gas and reference gas flow rate check (once every one to two weeks)
Refer to "3.2 Checking the flow rates" (page 16) and then check that the sample gas and
reference gas are supplied at the specified flow rate (7 L/min ±0.5 L/min).

Zero calibration and span calibration (once every one to two weeks)
Refer to "3.3 Calibration" (page 17) and then perform zero calibration and span calibration.

Whether event has occurred
Check that the event button ( : red or : black) is not displayed in the MEASUREMENT
screen.
If an event is occurring, refer to "3.6 Event check" (page 34) and check the event details.
