Connect

Connect the OTP programmer to the PC host through the serial port. The
serial port name is displayed on the status bar if the connection is successful.

→

Download

Download the contents of the PC buffer to the buffer in the OTP programmer.

→

Auto

This command performs the following functions in sequential order:

•

Blank Check: to check if the OTP chip in the OTP Textool is blank

•

Program: to program the data in the OTP programmer buffer into the
OTP chip

•

Verify: to compare the data in the OTP programmer buffer with the data
in the OTP chip

The LCM displays the message “Blank Checking...”, “Programming...” or
“Verifying...” while executing their respective functions. The programmer will
stop the process if an error occurs in any of the above three steps. The OTP
chip must be placed in the textool socket before executing this command.

Auto with Fuse

This command performs the Auto command first, if there is no error, then
the Fuse command is performed.

→

Blank Check

Check if the OTP chip on the OTP Textool is blank. The message “Blank
Checking...” is displayed while this command is executing, and a result
message displayed when this command has been completed.

Program

Program the contents of the programmer buffer into the OTP chip and
compare the data in the OTP chip with the data in the programmer buffer.
The result message is displayed when this command has been completed.

Verify

Verify the OTP chip data. This command reads the data from the OTP chip
and compares it with with the contents of the programmer buffer. The
comparative result is displayed on the LCM.

→

Read

Read from the OTP chip. The contents of the OTP chip are stored in the
programmer buffer and are displayed in both the Binary Code and De-as-
sembled Instruction Area. In addition, the OTP chip type and checksum
information, is updated in the statusbar.
