HLINK Task File and Debug File

One of the HLINK’s output files is a task file which consists of two parts, a
task header and binary code. The task header contains the HLINK version,
the microcontroller name and the ROM code. The binary code part contains
the program codes. The other HLINK output file is the debug file which
contains all information referred to by the HT-IDE debugging program.
This information includes source file names, symbol names and line num-
ber as defined in the source files. The HT-IDE will refer to the symbolic
debugging function information. This file should not be deleted unless the
debugging procedure is completed, otherwise the HT-IDE will be unable to
support the symbolic debugging function.
