HT-IDE Menu – Window
When emulating or simulating an application program, the Window menu
provides a window in real time, with which to view the contents and status
of the HT-ICE resources. These resources include program code memory
(ROM), program data memory (RAM), registers, trace list, stack and output
messages of some utilities within the HT-IDE. In addition to the view
function, some commands such as Register, Watch and RAM, can also
directly modify their contents. Two commands, namely Sim PAD and Sim
Result, provide a software interface to give direct control over I/O signals
and to view the corresponding outputs (refer to chapter 7 Simulation of An
Application Program). Fig 6-1 shows the window which gives access to the
contents and status of the HT-ICE resources.
