cannot be deleted, only overwritten by a new name. You can, however, load the factory
settings into the parameter set; a name is then Not defined.
Important
Click on one of the parameter sets to activate it immediately.
SAVE writes the current setting to the current parameter set. Select a set before making
changes, as clicking on a parameter set activates it immediately. The network and
fieldbus settings are stored in the device independently of the parameter sets.
RESTORE: As long as you have changed settings in the device but not yet saved them in
the parameter set, you can use this button to go back to the last settings saved in the
parameter set.
FACTORY SETTINGS loads the factory settings into the current parameter set. This
overwrites all settings except the network and fieldbus settings.
Information
To avoid accidental overwriting, after clicking on one of the buttons you will additionally
see the icon. Click the button again to confirm. Select another menu item or click on
an empty space in the window to cancel.
7.11 Device Storage
Under this menu item you can use SAVE to export all parameter sets, and transfer them
to a different DSE for example. The parameter sets are compressed into a ZIP archive for
the purpose. Depending on the browser and its settings, when you perform a download, a
window appears to select a path and filename or the file is saved without a prompt in the
download directory.
RESTORE opens a window where you can select the ZIP archive to load. You can then
choose whether you want to load all the parameter sets, or only some of them. Only
parameter sets containing settings differing from the factory settings are displayed.

and fieldbus settings. They are stored in the device independently of the parameter sets.
