CONNECTING DSE VIA TCP/IP

You can use the Hilscher “EthernetDeviceConfiguration” tool, for example. To do so,
download the setup file “EthernetDeviceConfiguration Vxxxx Setup.msi” from

https://kb.hilscher.com/display/ETHDEVCFG

 and install the program (the xxxx stands for

the version number).

Assign a separate static IP address for each connected DSE. The subnet mask is
normally identical for all devices. You can change the IP address and subnet mask
again later if necessary via the web interface or using a DCP program.

Procedure for assigning the IP address:

Run Ethernet Device Configuration as administrator.

u

Choose DCP under Options -> Protocols.

u

Click on Search Devices.

u

Select the line showing your device.

u

Click on Configure.

u

Choose Set IP Address.
