CONNECTING DSE VIA TCP/IP

Important

Make sure you are using IPv4; IPv6 is not supported.

Important

Depending on your IT settings, you may need to disconnect your PC from the network or
disable automatic DHCP address assignment. You can then assign the PC a static IP
address in the same address range as the DSE.
If you are using the DSE on a network, make sure that the IP address range you are using
is compliant with your IT's specifications.

Possible problems - No device found

If the DCP configuration program or the web interface cannot connect to the DSE, there
may be several reasons.

S

Are all cables correctly connected and screwed tight?

S

Is the power turned on, within the specified voltage range, and not current-limited?

S

Is the system LED on the DSE lit green?

S

Is at least one of the LEDs in the network port on your PC lit?

S

Have you enabled the correct interface or correct interface adapter on the PC?
