Maintenance
WARNING
When performing cleaning or technical service work, turn OFF the main switch.
Also close water and air shut-off valves, if necessary.

If the main switch is not OFF, electrical shock may occur and cause a serious
injury or breakdown.
▶
Wear protective gloves when performing cleaning or technical service work
in order to prevent the spread of infections.
▶
Instruments used in a
patients’
mouth, should be cleaned and sterilized.
Otherwise, patients and operators may be cross infected.
▶ Follow the manufacturer’s instruction to clean handpiece instruments when
using autoclave or sterilizers.
Otherwise, instruments may not be disinfected or sterilized properly.
CAUTION
When accessing the inside of the unit, do not touch the warmer or other hot
parts.

Otherwise, it may result burns or other injuries.
Turn off the main switch when opening the unit cover.

Daily or as often as possible
10.1.1
Sterilization with AUTOCLAVE
CAUTION
The sterilization of instruments must be prepared properly by being wrapped
with the pouches or laid in a try. Do not touch the inner surface of the sterilizer
chamber.
If a high heat drying process is performed, take out instruments as soon as the
sterilization cycle is completed.

Otherwise, instruments may be damaged by touching the inner surface of the
chamber or by high heat.
▶ What to be sterilized :
scaler tips and handpiece, operating light handle covers, silicone pad
and handle cover of dentist table, vacuum syringe tip and body, 3-way
syringe nozzle and body, saliva ejector tip and body

manual for proper sterilization parameters of each instrument.

Check and comply the sterilization or disinfection process of each accessory as specified by the
manufacturer.
