(9)  Safety all mounting bolts with 0.032 inch (0.81 mm) 

minimum diameter stainless steel wire (two bolts for 

each safety).

(10) Install the beta tube according to the airframe and/or 

engine manufacturer’s instructions.

NOTE 1

:  Follow the airframe manufacturer’s instructions 

for adjusting the beta tube to obtain the correct 

low pitch (flight idle blade angle). 

NOTE 2

:  Refer to the Aircraft Type Certificate Data 

Sheet for the low pitch blade angle setting.
