Top Cover Installation

Lift the handle up, insert the top cover unit

starting from the right side, and fit it into

position. Lower the handle, lift up on the top

cover lid, and push down on the front of the top

cover to lock the tabs into the front cover.

Replace the two set screws that hold the

front cover to the machine. The smaller of the

two screws goes directly under the horizontal

spool pin.

Lift up the handle and replace the small

Phillip's head screw on the left side of the

machine.

Important: Do the following so you

only have to put the top cover on

once!

Presser Bar knob on first before the

top cover, then cover with lid

closed and handle up!
