The basket assembly consists of the balance
ring, basket side wall and the basket bottom. The
hub is molded into the basket bottom.
Basket Removal
1. Remove backsplash assembly (see

top cover and suspension assembly (see

2. Remove the tub cover by unclasping eight
clips around the edge and lift off.
3. Remove the hub nut (1 5/16-inch.) and
conical washer. The hub nut is reverse
threads. It will need to be turned to the right
to loosen.
4. Lift the basket out from the tub. The basket
assembly weight is approximately 21-pounds.
A torque limiter (Part #: WX05X10028) should be
used when removing or installing the hub nut with
an impact gun.

Water Levels
Approximate Minimum Water Levels
•
Impeller
: 10-gallons or 4.1-in. deep from the
bottom of the basket.
•
Agitator
: 8-gallons or 4.85-in. deep from the
bottom of the basket.
Approximate Maximum Water Levels
•
Impeller
: 38-gallons or 17.4-in. deep from
the bottom of the basket. Press and hold the
Deep Fill button for 3-seconds to achieve.
• Impeller Bulky setting water level is
38-gallons or 16.7-in. deep from the bottom of
the basket.
•
Agitator Models
: 36-gallons or 16.5-in. depth
from the bottom of the basket set to super.
NOTE
: These levels are measured starting from
an empty basket.
