4.  Then remove the main board shield from the 

main board housing by pushing the shield 

back and lifting to release the front tabs. 

5.  Pulling the shield forward and lifting to release 

the rear tab.

For 700/705 and 900/905 Models:

For 600/605 Models:

6.  Slide the backsplash assembly to the rear and 

lift to remove.

When reinstalling the RJ45 connector and 

speaker assembly (for 900/905 models), the 

stationary lip needs to be inserted into the 

opening first, then snapped into the housing.

NOTE

: Be sure to reconnect all ground wires.

Control Panel Housing

The main board is located in the back-splash 

assembly.

Main Control Shield Removal

1.  Remove backsplash assembly (see 

Backsplash Removal

 section of this service 

guide).

2.  Disconnect the wiring harness connectors 

from the main board. 

3.  Remove the main board shield 1/4-in. hex-

head screw.
