Motor
1. Remove the pump assembly.
2. Remove the pump rotor assembly.
3. Remove the (4) hex screws securing the pump head to the pump motor.
(Mark the position of the motor on the pump head. This is functionally
unimportant but will keep the reassembly process consistent.)
4. Gently twist the pump head and lift it from the motor.
Note: Do not attempt to disassemble the pump motor. Serious damage to the
motor may result.
Pump Rotor
Materials Required

Pin Punch 3/32

Pin Punch 7/32 or smaller

Cross Pein Hammer 8oz or similar

Cleaning Material (see the ACP215 Operator’s Manual for acceptable
cleaning agents)

Roll of electrical tape or similar.

Procedures
1. Remove the rotor screw and remove the rotor from the pump motor’s
shaft.
2. Clean the pump shaft, pump housing and rotor.
Note: Dry paper towel or similar should be used throughout to clean all
components of pump rotor assembly. Oil or grease or other material leaving
deposit should not be used.
3. The rotor should easily slip onto and off of the pump shaft. If not,
determine if rotor or pump motor shaft is at fault and replace as
necessary.
