Step 1: Connect the PC and the VG 21-08 to the Internet
respectively, and make sure that the PC and the VG are accessible to
each other.
Step 2: Copy the application/Boot ROM program/configuration
file to the destination directory, “C:\version” for example.
II. Configuring the FTP service on the VG 21-08
Step 1: Set an authentication method.
Note:
You can configure AAA configuration as needed. For more information,
refer to
H3C VG Series Voice Gateways Operation Manual
.
Step 2: Add the username and password.
[VG] local-user h3c password simple 123 service-type ftp
“h3c” is the username and “123” is the password.
Step 3: Start the FTP server.
